General Terms and Conditions of the Online Shop
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “T&C”) govern the rights and obligations between the Seller and the Buyer arising from the sale of goods or services through the online store www.hoxit.sk.
The Seller operates in accordance with the applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic and the European Union, particularly legislation concerning consumer protection in distance contracts.

3. Definitions
Consumer
A natural person who does not act within the scope of their business or professional activity when concluding a contract.
Entrepreneur / Business Customer
A person acting within the scope of their trade, business, or professional activity. A customer providing a company registration number (IČO) when ordering will be treated as a business customer.
Goods
Tangible items offered for sale in the online store.
Service / Digital Content
Intangible content or services provided electronically.
4. Pre-Contractual Information
Before concluding the purchase contract, the Seller provides the Buyer with clear and understandable information including:
- identification and contact details of the Seller
- main characteristics of the goods or services
- the total price including VAT and all applicable taxes
- shipping costs and any additional fees
- available payment methods
- delivery methods and estimated delivery time
- the consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract and how to exercise it
- warranty conditions and complaint procedures
- the language in which the contract is concluded
- confirmation of the order on a durable medium (email)
5. Contract Formation and Order Confirmation
- An order submitted by the Buyer through the website represents a proposal to conclude a purchase contract.
- The contract is concluded once the Seller confirms the order by email.
- The confirmation email contains all relevant contractual information and order details.
- The order button on the website clearly indicates that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.
6. Prices and Payment Terms
- All prices are listed in EUR.
- Prices include VAT where applicable.
- Shipping costs are displayed separately before the order is finalized.
- If a discount is displayed, the Seller may show the previous reference price as required by applicable legislation.
- If a pricing error occurs due to technical or other mistakes, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order and notify the customer.
7. Payment Methods
Available payment methods may include:
- online card payment via a payment provider
- bank transfer
- other payment methods displayed during checkout
8. Delivery of Goods
Goods will be delivered to the address specified by the Buyer during checkout.
International shipments may be subject to customs duties or import taxes in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the Buyer.
A shipping confirmation or tracking number will be provided after dispatch.
9. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after:
- the day the consumer receives the goods, or
- the day the contract was concluded (for services or digital content).

Return shipping costs are generally borne by the consumer unless stated otherwise.
10. Returns and Refunds
The consumer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying the Seller of withdrawal.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice or the returned goods (whichever occurs later).
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless agreed otherwise.
11. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods made according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized products
- goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed
- goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery
- digital content delivered immediately with the consumer’s prior consent and acknowledgment of losing the right of withdrawal
12. Warranty and Complaints
A standard 2-year warranty applies to most products unless otherwise stated.
Certain accessories may have a shorter warranty period (e.g., 6 months)like but not limited to:pads,cables,etc.

- Follow the instructions for returning the item
The Seller will process the complaint without undue delay.
13. Post-Warranty Service
Repairs outside the warranty period may be offered depending on product availability and service conditions.
All repair and shipping costs are borne by the Buyer unless agreed otherwise.
14. Crowdfunding Campaigns / Pre-Orders
Products offered through crowdfunding campaigns or pre-orders may still be in development.
By participating in such campaigns, the Buyer acknowledges that:
- delivery dates are estimates
- product design or specifications may change
- delays may occur due to production or supply chain issues
The Seller will keep supporters informed about project progress.
If a project cannot be completed despite reasonable efforts, the Seller will transparently inform contributors about the situation and the use of collected funds.
15. Personal Data Protection and Cookies
The Seller processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Slovak legislation.
Detailed information about data processing is provided in the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, available on the website.
Customers have the right to:
- access their personal data
- request correction or deletion
- restrict processing
- request data portability
- object to processing

16. Reviews and Discounts
Customer reviews may be published publicly.
The Seller reserves the right to remove reviews that are offensive, misleading, or violate third-party rights.
When displaying discounts, the Seller may indicate the reference price in accordance with applicable legislation.

18. Liability
The Seller is responsible for defects in accordance with applicable legislation.
The Seller is not liable for damages caused by:
- improper use of the product
- unauthorized modification or repair
- normal wear and tear
19. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on the website unless stated otherwise.
The current version is always available on the website.
