2. DEFINITIONS
Buyer:
- Consumer – a natural person not acting within their business activity or profession when concluding a contract.
- Entrepreneur – a person acting in the course of their business, trade, or profession. Anyone providing a company registration number (IČO) in an order will be treated as an entrepreneur.
3. LEGAL BASIS
These Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between the Seller and Buyer.
In matters not explicitly stated herein, Slovak law shall apply, including in particular:
- Act No. 40/1964 Coll. – Civil Code
- Act No. 102/2014 Coll. – Consumer Protection in Distance Contracts
- Act No. 250/2007 Coll. – Consumer Protection Act
4. ORDERING & CONTRACT FORMATION
A purchase contract is formed when the Buyer places an order and the Seller confirms it via email within 24 hours. The confirmation includes product availability and estimated delivery time.
5. PRICES & PAYMENTS
- All prices listed include VAT. Shipping fees are displayed separately.
- The Seller reserves the right to cancel an order if the product was incorrectly priced or unavailable.
- Payments are accepted only in EUR.
6. DELIVERY
- Orders are shipped according to stated delivery times.
- The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of delivery information.
- International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are borne by the Buyer.
- A tracking number or shipping confirmation will be provided upon dispatch.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (FOR CONSUMERS)
Under § 7 of Act No. 102/2014 Coll., the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without stating a reason within 14 calendar days from:
- the date of receiving the goods, or
- the date of contract conclusion (for services).
To withdraw, the Consumer must notify the Seller at support@hoxit.sk, including:
- Order number
- Item name
- Date of receipt
- Full name and address
- IBAN for refund
The Consumer may also use the withdrawal form included at the end of these Terms.
Return of Goods
- The Consumer must return the goods within 14 days of withdrawal to:

- The Consumer is responsible for return shipping costs and any damage during transit unless otherwise agreed.
- If the item is custom made,then i cant be refunded.
Refund
- The Seller will refund all payments, including the standard delivery cost (not extra services like express delivery), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice.
- The refund may be withheld until the goods are returned or proof of return is provided.
Exclusions
The right to withdraw does not apply to:
- Custom or personalized items
- Used, damaged, or altered products (beyond normal inspection)
- Services fully provided with prior express consent during the withdrawal period
The Consumer is liable for any decrease in value caused by handling the product beyond what is necessary to determine its nature and characteristics.
8. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
Warranty Period
- A 2-year warranty applies to most products.
- Accessories like cables, straps, and pads are covered for 6 months.
The warranty does not cover:
- Improper handling or misuse
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Exposure to unsuitable environments (e.g., extreme heat, magnetism, dust, etc.)
- Repairs are free in the warranty period but the Buyer bears full shipping costs both ways.
If the product cannot be repaired and the defect does not hinder functionality, a partial refund may be offered.
Repairs and Modifications
- Users may disassemble or modify products, but any damage caused voids the warranty for the repair for the affected parts (e.g., damaged headphone transducers).
Warranty Claims
To submit a claim:
- Contact support@hoxit.sk with your order number and issue description
- Return the product (shipping paid both ways by the Buyer)
- If the item is replaced, a new warranty period applies for the replaced part/item
9. POST-WARRANTY SERVICE
- Repairs outside the warranty period are possible; the Buyer bears full shipping and service costs.
10. ORDER CANCELLATION
The Seller may cancel an order if:
- The product is unavailable
- The Buyer provides incomplete or false contact information
11. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In case of a dispute, the Consumer may contact the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI) for alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

12. FINAL PROVISIONS
- The governing law is that of the Slovak Republic.
- If any provision of these GTC is in conflict with a specific written agreement, the individual agreement prevails.
- These terms are valid from 9.10.2025, and remain in effect until updated.
